One function, not two suppliers
Hiring and retention are the same problem seen from either end. We run both, so nothing gets lost in the handover.
Meet our founder
Founder & Managing Director of Talentloop - the people function for businesses that don't yet have one in-house.
"Businesses were paying for capability they never got to keep. I built Talentloop the other way round."
Fourteen years in recruitment taught me what most businesses find out the hard way.
I've worked across startups and multinationals, SMEs and large corporates, in the UK and Europe. I was talent partner to The Landing, a technology enterprise incubator for high-growth companies, working with a portfolio of businesses all scaling at once - which is the fastest way there is to see the same patterns repeat.
And the pattern was always this. Businesses spending hundreds of thousands of pounds on recruitment fees, and still unable to attract the people they wanted or keep the ones they had.
Hiring, development and retention aren't three separate problems. They're one system. When one part breaks, the others follow. A recruiter is paid to fix the first. An HR consultant is paid to fix the third. Almost nobody is paid to notice they're the same thing.
That's where Talentloop sits - the place a recruiter, an HR director and a workforce strategist would all need to be working together, and rarely are. We find where the pressure actually is, fix what's breaking, and leave when the system runs without us.
I lead every engagement personally, working with a team of senior talent and people specialists - so you get continuity as well as seniority.

How Talentloop works
Hiring and retention are the same problem seen from either end. We run both, so nothing gets lost in the handover.
Every system, process and playbook is built to stay in your business - whether or not Talentloop keeps running it.
If the real issue is management rather than recruitment, you'll be told that early - even when it isn't the brief.

What people say
"I've worked with Ruby over the last couple of years and I am so thankful I had the good fortune to meet her. Ruby brings so much value as a true outsourced partner to the business. Not only does she bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise, she's someone you can trust to represent your company with the same passion and enthusiasm as an in-house team."
"She's helped us with recruitment, EVP, talent strategy and helped us to save money on recruitment too. She's also one of life's really wonderful human beings - it's always fun working with her, she's always happy to help, she always brings so much energy to any interaction and she always generates results. I can't recommend her enough."
"I brought Ruby in to review a number of things in Planisware UK and she delivered. The areas of focus were our recruitment process, onboarding process and also talent retention strategy. These were not easy projects for us to engage with as we were in the middle of growing the business but it was crucial we did engage. Ruby was able to quickly get to some of the sources of our challenges and propose quick wins and also some medium term strategies."
