What we do

Recruitment to retention, as one function

Every other supplier you could call owns one segment of the line. A recruiter stops at Hire. An HR consultant starts after Onboard. We run the whole distance - and here is exactly how the work takes shape.

How we partner

Talent partner, people partner, or both

Some clients come to us for talent. Some come to us for the people side. We step in where you need us - and run the whole span as one function.

Attract - Hire - Onboard - Develop - Retain

01

Attract

Employer story, value proposition and candidate experience that make the right people look twice - and stop you competing on salary alone.

02

Hire

Search, selection and hiring process run properly: role definition, interview frameworks, hiring manager coaching, offers that land.

03

Onboard

The first ninety days designed deliberately, because that's where most of the people you fought for quietly decide whether to stay.

04

Develop

Managers equipped to actually lead: performance conversations, progression, and the leadership layer that grows with headcount.

05

Retain

Why people stay, made intentional - engagement, reward sense-checks, and the fixes that show up in your attrition numbers.

“Because how you hire affects how you promote, how you promote affects how you retain, how you retain shapes your culture, and your culture determines who wants to join you next.”

Break any part of that loop, and the whole thing suffers. That is why the span has to be run as one function. We can step in as your talent partner, your people partner, or both - neither side gets fixed without the other being seen.

Build

What it is
We build the function, your team takes it on.
How it ends
Defined term, capability transferred, documented.
Suits
You want it in-house eventually.

Run

What it is
We are the function, ongoing.
How it ends
Reviewed regularly - your call, not a lock-in.
Suits
You don't want to build it at all.

Everything we build is yours outright. Whether we keep running it is your decision, not a dependency.

Scope, up front

What's in, what's not, and what it costs

What's in

  • Senior, hands-on delivery by the person who scoped the work
  • Agreed outcomes, measured against numbers you already track
  • Frameworks, templates and training your team keeps
  • Direct access to us between sessions

What's not

  • Contingency recruitment on a percentage fee
  • Juniors learning on your budget
  • A retainer that quietly renews forever
  • Generic HR policy packs with your logo on

How it works commercially

  • A fixed-fee diagnostic first - the report is yours either way
  • Fixed fee thereafter, scoped to the business
  • No percentage of salary, ever
  • Build or Run, reviewed openly - your call

Straight answers

So are you a recruiter or an HR consultancy?

Neither, and that's the point. A recruiter fills the vacancy and leaves you the same retention problem that created it. An HR consultant fixes the culture and leaves you still paying agency fees. You came to us with one sentence - we run the whole of it.

What happens when you leave?

Depends what you want. Some clients have us build it and take it over. Reason Digital could have done that two years ago and chose not to. Either way, everything is documented and yours.

Why not just hire a Head of People?

You might, eventually - and we'll help you make that hire when it's time. Today it's a permanent six-figure commitment once you add employer NI and pension, and a hire you have to get right first time, at a size where most businesses can't yet keep that person busy across both halves.

How much?

Start with the diagnostic. It's a fixed fee, and you'll know what the rest is worth before you commit to any of it.

No obligation. Just the sentence you arrived with, and an honest view of what it's costing you.
